WARNING: Do not copy How’s it going? to My Briefcase

If you copy How’s it going? to the desktop “My Briefcase” folder, Windows creates a “Replica” file of the database, and this can cause synchronization problems to your data in future.

Back-up and Compact your Project Data Database

For safety sake, take regular backup copies of the Project Data database, HIGDATA.mdb. You can do this via Window’s copy, and paste it into a backup folder.

Periodically run the HIG4UTE.mdb utility to compact the HIG4DATA.mdb database. This will reduce the size of HIG4DATA.mdb by removing wasted space, and it will increase performance. You should also run HIG4UTE.mdb to compact the archive database (HIG4ARCH.mdb) if you use it.
